Fiesta de Pueblo Carnival!

by littlesarahbigworld

I am not writing as often as I’d like to be. I’m not doing lots of things as often as I’d like to (or even ought to)–playing music, reading, baking, sleeping–but I am still making time for fun.

Did you know that there was a full-on carnival with rides and everything right next door to the library where I work? Neither did we. Until they started setting up.

And, really, who could pass up bright lights and fast fun? We did our best–street-cart tacos, coca-cola, hot churros, and lots of spinning. Lots and lots of spinning.

I maybe got nauseous. I maybe overdid it, a bit. I maybe freaked out on the ferris wheel (“Why did I think this would be a good idea?! I should know myself better by now!!”), until I realized that I could take pictures. But it was all worth it; summer is waning fast, Kevin is about to leave, and I don’t want to miss a thing.
