A Work In Progress
So…I’ve been slacking on this blog for some time now, but for good reason–I have a home! After months of searching, false leads, crushed hopes and basement dwelling, I’ve finally found a place to live. Best of all, it’s a studio! My very own space, and I’ve never lived on my own before. Excitement all around, friends!
But it turns out starting from scratch takes lots of time and energy (and money!), plus I had my first ever sinus infection for two whole entire weeks (!). So I’m still living in box-ville, dedicating most of my spare time to scrubbing walls (and ceilings. No, seriously). Here’s where we’re at so far:
Lots of piles! Lots of stuff from IKEA! Like that couch! I was daunted by the prospect of assembling it (come on, you know, IKEA…), especially since theinstuctions CLEARLY DEPICTED two men completing the task. So Kevin altered them:
I’m working towards catching up, so expect to see some more retro-active posts appear (I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: I’m an intensely chronological person). In the meantime, here are some random photos that have been building up inside my camera:
